Brother Pastor:

It’s hard to believe Kathee and I are inviting you to the 6th Annual Conference On Revival. Wow, how time flies! The four days we will spend together will touch our lives for time and eternity. When God pours out a reviving, renewing spirit upon us, we can take it back to our churches and families where the increased passion will accomplish much.

The individuals God brings together each year come with valuable resources. Everyone is unique and has slightly (or extremely) different ideas about ministry both in form and content. We get together to discuss these things and especially to discuss how we might experience more of God’s power in ministry. Our strength is our unity in Jesus, not uniformity in thought.

We will invest the mornings in Round Table discussion where, besides time in the Word, we find out what’s working, failing, encouraging, defeating, etc. Unhurried conversation will give us the chance to know each other on more than a surface level. If you have recently discovered a book or resource that is helping you, we’d like to hear about it. If you have found a solution to a problem or really need to hear of a way to address a situation, you can talk about it here.

We do not have any special speakers because Pastors like to preach and do a good job of it. Every Pastor who attends the morning sessions will have the opportunity to preach at least 20 minutes during one of the evening sessions. There will be other opportunities for sharing as well. If you or someone you bring along has a music or some other ministry there will be opportunity to use it too.

If you can be here for the whole time, you will be involved in our normal Sunday morning events. Besides them, we will have breakfast, lunch, an evening session and late dinner that day. Monday through Wednesday we have three meals plus a snack after the evening session. Eating together provides for good fellowship and makes us well-rounded Christians. The afternoons are free, giving you the opportunity to rest, take a trip, see the fall leaves, or whatever you like.

This year's theme is REVIVAL. Please prepare a message and more to share with us. Take time to do a little research on Revival and bring some good stuff to the table.
