Rally

A Rekindle The Flame Rally is a single service that includes gospel music, congregational singing, preaching, an invitation, and a love offering. It ordinarily lasts about 90 minutes and provides a good opportunity for a church to become acquainted with RTFM. A Rally can be held at any regular service time or at a special time in conjunction with a cook-out or carry-in dinner, a family time, etc. When possible, it is good to have a Rally 3 - 6 months before a Crusade so folks have some idea what RTFM is and thus find it easier to commit to the Crusade schedule.

One Day Revival

A One Day Revival invests an entire Sunday in seeking God’s reviving touch. We like to combine the Bible Classes and Worship time into a three hour morning session that includes two messages, a children’s sermon, congregational praise and worship, gospel music, pastor’s welcome, announcements, church offering, an invitation, and love offering. When possible, it is good to add a one hour teaching time prior to the evening service which consists of a Rally as described above.

Traditional Crusade

A Traditional Crusade starts on Sunday (morning or evening) and goes through Wednesday or Friday evening. It works well to use the One Day Revival Sunday schedule and then meet at 7:00 each evening. Evening attendance is usually increased by having a meal prior to the meeting and having the choir or worship team participate in each service. Your situation may not allow for these extras, but they are a little bit of sacrifice that pays a big return. Unless God really pours out His Spirit, the evening meetings last no more than 90 minutes and can be contained to 75 minutes. In that time we are able to sing 2 or 3 gospel songs, have a time of congregational singing, pastor’s greeting and announcements, preaching, invitation, and love offering.

Week-Ender Crusade

A Week-Ender Crusade starts with a 24 hour fast that concludes with a prayer meeting on Friday evening. This opening service includes minimal music, a short time in the Word and an extended time of personal and corporate prayer.

Saturday begins at 9:00 AM with continental breakfast. After breakfast we sing a little with the guitar and then get in the Word until lunch time at noon. At 12:30 PM Kathee takes the ladies and I take the men for a 90 minute session oriented to the unique concerns of the groups. This is a powerful time emphasizing the role of men and women in the home, church, and community. At 2:30 PM we reconvene for a little more music and the concluding time in the Word. Prayer is woven in throughout the day and it all adds up to a powerful impact in the lives of participants and then in the entire church. We wrap up no later than 3:30 PM and that gives folks time to get the week-end chores done and be rested for Sunday.

The Sunday schedule is pretty much the same as a One Day Revival with the possibility of including a youth event (pizza blast, etc.) in the afternoon.

Week-Ender PLUS+ Crusade

A Week-Ender PLUS+ Crusade begins with the Week-Ender format. Then on Sunday evening the emphasis turns to evangelism and each of the evening meetings through Wednesday or beyond is aimed at inviting lost people to Jesus. The work of God in believers’ lives over the week end is extended to family and friends who need to know Jesus as Savior. What a time!

Each of these approaches is practical and effective. The Week-Ender is very functional for families where both parents work and have all the child activities as well. Folks can sacrifice a week-end in most cases. We are willing to adapt ourselves to your schedule and situation. These approaches work, but many others will too. We’ll do what you want us to do to have the most effective ministry possible. We are just seeking God for His reviving touch.
