Some Thoughts On Revival

We are living in a critical time. Read Habakkuk 1 and you’ll see an ancient description of our time. America is being destroyed while unprecedented numbers are singing the songs of Zion. Lavish prosperity is being mistaken for divine endorsement of a decadent life-style that dishonors God. Violence is becoming an uncontrollable threat in every place in our land. No one is really safe anywhere at anytime. Things are like this because Satan is moving, practically unchecked, on a culture that forgets God in more ways every day.

The Rekindle The Flame mission is to call Christians back to the Cross for cleansing and empowering to live as salt and light in a dark and decaying world. We address the matters of sin forthrightly, but without harshness. We call for repentance and then teach the exact means of living and walking in victory over the sins that entangle. When we say "Revival", we mean a time when God so moves on His people, that they must repent and return to the abundant life Jesus promised. We mean a sin forsaking, faith embracing, life changing encounter with Jesus that will release God’s power for His glory!

It seems quite evident that if Revival touched a Local Church a host of good things would follow. Pastor, we are available to partner with you in seeking God for Revival in your Church. We are seeing God move in wonderful ways all across the country. Besides pastoring Ward Road Baptist Church, we are able to conduct three Local Church Crusades each year. And of course, we host the Annual Revival Conference the last week of September at Ward Road Baptist Church. Let us know how we can work together, trusting God for a great outpouring of Himself to His own.

Possible Ministry Topics

A Rekindle The Flame event can emphasize any subject the Pastor desires. We pray diligently about every meeting, seeking God’s direction for the emphasis. We often receive that direction from the Pastor. Here is a list of many of the topics we regularly deal with. Let us know if you need an emphasis not mentioned here.

The problem is with Christians! Those who name the Name of Christ and don’t depart from iniquity. Those who, in denial of the Word of God, claim to love Him while living lives completely committed to money and the pleasures and things it will buy. "Believers" who privately entertain themselves with the filth and debauchery of the world and then crusade against and complain about the sins of pagans. At least the pagans aren’t hypocritical – they know and admit that they don’t know God. When the Church disobeys God it has no power against Satan. He can operate as he wishes in the exercise of every destructive device he can imagine. He observes our private lives and knows whether we live for him or God.
