Restoration

Psalm 23:3, Malachi 3:10-11, Jeremiah 29:14, Jeremiah 33:7-8

Psalm 23:3 3 He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.

God doesn’t stop with forgiveness when He deals with sin in the riches of His grace. He is willing and able to restore what sin has stolen, killed, or destroyed. Do you ever worry that you’ve gone too far, sinned too much, or too bad so that you can’t be forgiven? Well, you haven’t. You can repent of the sin and turn from it and when you do God will cleanse you of everything and begin to restore you.

Malachi 3:10-11 10 "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this," says the LORD of hosts, "if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows. 11 "Then I will rebuke the devourer for you so that it will not destroy the fruits of the ground; nor will your vine in the field cast its grapes," says the LORD of hosts.

When it comes to money God wants a reciprocal relationship where He prospers you with an overflowing blessing and you respond with tithing. Further, He will rebuke the devourer for the tither. He wants to bless your life as you give faithfully trusting Him all the way.

Jeremiah 29:14 14 'I will be found by you,' declares the LORD, 'and I will restore your fortunes and will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you,' declares the LORD, 'and I will bring you back to the place from where I sent you into exile.'

The nation of Israel proves how God deals with His people. He may have to introduce some corrective discipline in your life at some time, but there is always a day for restoration. He’ll bring you back to the place where you parted company and restore anything that was lost – remember, God still loves you and always will!

Jeremiah 33:7-8 7 'I will restore the fortunes of Judah and the fortunes of Israel and will rebuild them as they were at first. 8 'I will cleanse them from all their iniquity by which they have sinned against Me, and I will pardon all their iniquities by which they have sinned against Me and by which they have transgressed against Me.

The promise goes on now including Judah, the promise of restoring their fortunes, rebuilding them as they were at first, cleansing all iniquities, pardoning all iniquities, and transgressions. God does the same for individual believers.

If you need recovery and restoration, don't wait, God is willing and able and wants to get started now.
